Sergio Tacchini

Founded in 1966 by the great tennis player Sergio Tacchini, the Italian brand has managed to gain a place of privilege in the world of clothing, and urban and sports footwear.

Sergio Tacchini has always been at the forefront. It was founded at a time when tennis players only used white in their clothes, encouraging themselves to introduce colors in their designs.

It was during the decades of ’70 and ’80 that the brand became the undisputed market leader, to venture into a novel promotion strategy for the time: the sponsorship of great athletes. Sergio Tacchini was the first brand to sign a sponsorship contract with figures such as Pete Sampras,

Pat Cash, Vitas Gerulaitis, Martina Hingis, John McEnroe and Gabriela Sabattini, among others. Recently, Novac Djokovic, tennis player N˚1 at the time, was represented by the brand.

The company managed to create a “brand look”, counting not only with the backing of international sports figures, but it is also chosen by personalities of the show and the world of fashion. Today it offers a proposal of both sporting and urban lifestyle.

In Argentina, it is represented by Latin Shoes SA, offering footwear and accessories.
